Foil winding machines of FWM series are designed to wind low voltage coils, with greater foil cross sections, inter layer insulation and side support (end-fill) with high winding tension. This segment of machines comprises ‘Automatic precision foil offset aligner to control the ‘0’ position with precision AC controlled drive system (Photo electric sensors and interlayer insulation with close loop tension control system with advanced robust design).
FWM series machines run on high speed precision controls which are programmed to perform at the highest level of accuracy with precision tension control.
TRISHUL Sharp Winder foil winding machines are designed to wind both Aluminium and Copper foils.
MACHINE DESIGN
FWM series machines are designed and manufactured with state-of-art technology and
comprises following main components:
- Main winding head
- Foil Decoiler
- Center stand with insulation decoiler
- Pressure rollers
- Edge burr remover
- Foil cutting system
- Control console
MAIN WINDING HEAD
A direct driven AC Asynchronous geared motor mounted on the direct winding shaft with faceplate designed to mount winding mandrel with pneumatically operated side support mounted on swiveling bearing block. The stepless winding speed regulation is varied by foot switch based on software program fed through operator interface.
FOIL DECOILER
The foil decoiler unit is hydraulically operated collapsible type with closed loop asynchronous geared motor driven to achieve maximum line tension through main winding motor. The decoiler unit is mounted on precision guide ways with AC servo geared motor and is ball screw driven for precision foil edge control system.
CENTER STAND WITH INSULATION DECOILER
Insulation Paper decoilers are mounted below the foils in the center stand. This can be loaded and unloaded manually or by crane. The insulation decoilers can be completely moved out of the center stand for loading the insulation paper roll.
PRESSURE ROLLERS
Dual pressure roller system operated through pneumatic cylinders is provided at the bottom of the coil, its pivoting head allowing the roller to change the angle so as to ensure uniform pressure, precision tension and tighter winding.
EDGE BURR REMOVER
The edge burr remover unit mounted on guide rails with adjustable angle is to optimize burr flattening efficiency. This unit has adjustable lateral movement to accommodate various foil widths.
FOIL CUTTING SYSTEM
Manually operated, sliding type foil cutting mechanism cuts both Aluminium and Copper foil of maximum thickness 2.0 mm. This system is a cross over shearing type with both side supported by moving rollers for better grip at the time of shearing without stretching the foils.
CONTROL CONSOLE
Programmable logic controller based with 10’’ color touch screen, operator interface for user friendly operation.
